Lidocaine Test Pricing

The lidocaine test is the diagnostic procedure that helps determine whether TEMMA is likely to help you.
It includes:

  • A brief cerebral angiogram

  • Placement of a microcatheter into the MMA

  • Injection of a small amount of lidocaine anesthetic

  • Real-time assessment of symptom relief

  • Most insurance plans cover this because it is a standard diagnostic angiogram with an intra-arterial anesthetic test.

TEMMA Procedure Pricing (Coil Embolization)

This is the main procedure, which includes:

  • Procedural suite and imaging time

  • Microcatheter navigation into the MMA

  • Placement of a soft platinum coil

  • Sedation and monitoring

  • Same-day discharge

  • Many insurance plans cover this procedure, while others may offer partial reimbursement depending on diagnosis, prior treatments, and medical necessity.

  • We submit all documentation on your behalf and work with your insurer to obtain any required authorizations.
